Blazin’ Trails Cowboy Church was founded in a small barn in Vale, NC. A group of Christ followers joined together in January 2010 with the goal of fulfilling God’s plan of reaching the entire world by planting a Cowboy Church in Lincoln County. In March 2010, the Lincoln County Horsemen’s Association agreed to allow Blazin’ Trails Cowboy Church to use an old barn on their property to hold Cowboy Church.
Today ,we partner with Lincoln County Horsemen’s Association to provide a location where God is first. We can enjoy the animals that God has given us in a Christ centered environment.
Pastor Harvey Gates leads the great group of believers at Blazin’ Trails Cowboy Church. We provide opportunities for all ages to interact with each other to strengthen their relationship with Christ. We offer opportunities for anyone to find their place by being part of the Cowboy Church tradition.
We hope you find our website exciting and will consider becoming a part of the fastest growing, non-threatening church groups in America. Our goal is to reach the cowboy culture as well as anyone looking to find Christ in a non-traditional way. We meet in a barn at the Ponderosa, located at 1222 Ponderosa Road in Lincolnton, NC.
You don’t have to be a cowboy or a horse lover to attend and feel at home with Blazin’ Trails Cowboy Church. We provide an atmosphere where dress is casual. If you like Christian music of all kinds, want to be loved for who you are, and most importantly, want God first in your life, you will love Blazin’ Trails Cowboy Church.
We sit on lawn chairs and the atmosphere is relaxed. Cowboy boots, hats, tennis shoes, shorts and jeans are all welcome here.
Our Worship service includes: a patriotic pledge, great music and simple preaching of God’s Word. Fellowship includes trails rides, campfire gatherings, rodeo, and many other activities we may have throughout the year.
Christ is the authority and the Holy Bible is our guide as we work to strengthen our relationship with Him.
